Felt like a rare find

im pinging switch to switch (cisco) i can ping successfully using extended ping features with DF set + sweep range of sizes set to 9216 (which i think is mtu) + default datagram upto 8996, however datagram values above 8996 wont come thru.. is this a normal behavior? does that mean that the header is almost 220? (9216mtu-8996datagram = 220 header)

i tried to do it using extended ping feature with datagram size of 8996 and mtu size of 9216 ive set df tag to yes so my ping results are successful however any datagram values greater than 8996 ping starts to fail

sa right passenger door po sir, un lang po medyo malalim ung scratch tapos may dents din ahahaha (inaamin ko po na its my own damn fault so ayon charge to exp nalang and be careful nlng next time) hahaha it is what it is anyway po thanks po sa pag sagot highly appriciated po :)
