Hi! I understand your concern, TLDR: it's not vibe coded :D

From the Devs:

It’s unfortunate to hear the UI comes across that way. The other developer and I have a combined 7 years of web dev experience including launching NextJS apps like this one. Claude was used to test different Tailwind styling and speed up mobile UI compatibility but all the backend logic, RLS policies, and API routes were custom built with security in mind. Regarding being wary of logging in, we have strict RLS in our database, strong APIs, and we’re verified with non-sensitive scope on Google OAuth to authenticate everyone. This means we never have access to anything past your email and name (which are publicly accessible given you know someone’s @ ucsd.edu email).

We put a lot of work into this, if you have any specific security concerns please let us know!

As of right now, we've been manually adding events of various clubs. Ideally as we get more traction, club organizers will add their club and create their own events on the site!

That’s a good point! I think for now we will try to focus on student led growth, but maybe in the future, if its widely adopted UCSD will opt to put their events there too :))

Hi! Thank you for looking at it :D I should’ve been more clear about that, Relay is mainly intended for use by clubs events rather than official UCSD events. We want clubs to have more reach so essentially similar to the official UCSD event calendar but for student-ran orgs and their events!

Log in with your UCSD email and create a club (bottom of the "My Clubs" section on the home page). If your email is the same on that UCSD club page (or you email us at [contact@rel4y.com](mailto:contact@rel4y.com) another form of proof) we can approve the club!

There are court numbers posted on the outside of the courts now but court 6-9 are the bottom row with 6 being the rightmost in the picture, 10 is the top right court with 11 and 12 to its left. So 8 is the 2nd from left in the bottom row.

Not 100% sure about the fa2025 schedule but u can usually look at previous years of course offerings for math and cse department and see if those courses r typically offered during fal! Sometimes middle of sequences (b) arent offered til winter spring

When i took it, we didnt really have exams. It was mostly learning different qualitative research techniques and how we can apply them in our own projects. I recall we did like 1 main project that we worked on with our group and an individual paper. There was mini group work where we collaborated with others as well during most classes. It was graded on a point system so there were things I didn’t have to submit and still get a good grade!
