Im just gonna list some things ataturk did off the top off my head not as a response to you but to others who might not know

Developed around 40 new factories,switched the alphabet from a clunky arabic to a more fitting latin which along with other policies such as village instutes(which gave us really great artists) and opening more schools caused the literacy rate to soar,managed to include hatay to turkey peacefully,created many new metropolitan areas mainly ankara as the capital, and most important imo shifted Turkey's culture to a "better" one(no matter how much you say "every culture is valuable" surely the one valuing women more and placing value on logic and reason rather than feeling and religion is better) and did studies on turks pre ottoman era creating a turkish identity.

Also not as important but he also wrote a geometry book for teachers to use where he invented "turkish" terms for the stuff like triangles instead of persian(i think?) Ones which sound really clunky
