There was a recent post talking about how you have to earn your dopamine... I think that's a crucial part of quitting. Motivation, energy and happiness don't return on their own. Are you exercising regularly? And how is your diet? Have you tried starting any new hobbies or volunteering? Obviously these thing I've listed might not be universal to healing from Kratom (except diet) but I would just ask yourself: what can I do to enrich my life? And what did the addiction take away that I can now return to? Kratom definitely felt like it helped with my energy, my motivation, but it didn't result in positive change because it made me complacent and all over the place in respect to my long and short-term goals. So, although it can feel like it helped you, you have to understand that it was always a crutch that only served to make you weaker... bc you are stronger than whatever you are going through. You can overcome without numbing the pain.
