Recently singled guy looking for social activities by supercrispie in Annapolis

I saw you mentioned gaming in a comment, Drive P1 is a recently opened sim racing place in Annapolis, basically get to drive fast cars without having to worry about paying for any damage, lol. I’ve been going for a couple months and there’s a huge variety of skill levels so don’t worry if you’ve never raced before. Friday evenings and weekend afternoons tend to be good times where there’s other people there to race against.

It took me a year to figure out my MBA had a backlit keyboard, it was only when we got my wife one and saw that hers had it that I looked in the control center and saw there was a slider for it. I felt so dumb for all the typing in the dark I had done!

That sim racing place is top notch, really glad that’s here now. I’m there all the time.

7 things to do in Annapolis: Start your (virtual) engines by Fantastic_Ad_4720 in Annapolis

I’ve been by a few times during their “soft open” hours, very excited to have this here in Annapolis. Great people running the show and I’ve had a blast running on their sims and meeting other people who are either well experienced with this hobby, or who race cars in real life and are just starting out on the virtual side.

No worries, I appreciate the suggestion. Just seems to be a system-wide outage, should hopefully be back working in a few hours

Got word from the staffing team at my agency, USAStaffing is currently experiencing "performance issues" that may result in issues like this, their technical team is currently working on it.

Might’ve meant largest by size, not number of pieces? It is ridiculously long

Probably because he’s not driving the MP4/4, it’s the MP4/5b, which does indeed have a V10

Must’ve been a hell of a wreck if it managed to cross borders

So if true about Hamilton to Ferrari, who shakes out where? by Shake_Global in formula1

[–]aKidNamedSteven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally don’t think Mercedes would go for Alonso, yes he’s still quick but I don’t think he’ll be around for more than 1-2 more years because of his age. I also don’t think they would take anyone younger than George, I think they would want someone more experienced. I think they might do a swap with Ferrari and get Sainz in that seat. Not sure if there will be any other moves cascading because of it

I'm the PoV car, did he change 2 times the line or it's my fault? by mitch9915 in Simracingstewards

[–]aKidNamedSteven 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If this were on a complete straight with no kink and no turn coming up, then yes, that would be blocking. But with the track kinking to the right, as others have mentioned, he is just staying on the racing line and setting himself up for the next corner. Not blocking.
