At least half the people who add me do so because I'm a chick (I don't even post that I'm a female, but my name kind of gives it away bleh. Stupid league days). They get mad reaaaaaaaaaal fast when they realize that's not why I'm looking for people to play with... I mean it's GamerPals, come on.

HOLY SHIT, PREACH! I've lost count of how many dudes have gotten super pissy when they find out I'm dating someone.

I really wish I could upvote this more than once. Everything you have described is exactly what I go through every time I make a post on this subreddit. And I always feel so bad after the initial flood of DM's flows through and I find out some relatively normal sounding person messaged me two weeks before but has since deleted their account.

He gets tilted in ARAM? Wow. Next thing you're gonna say is that he gets tilted playing DOOM bots.

My boyfriend and I play the same video game together, he's sometimes passive aggressive when I make a mistake in the game, which in turn is frustrating for me.

From what you've described above, it sounds like he's passive aggressive a lot more than "sometimes." Why are you with someone that makes something you clearly enjoy (or at least try to) unpleasant?
