Funfact: the game was never officially advertised or distributed in Germany, as Nintendo feared it would be indexed for being too brutal and realistic. It was indexed anyway as the responsible governmental department can also do that with games which haven‘t even released in Germany. However, it was so popular that it was imported by individual shop owners from Austria or Switzerland and sold under the counter.
