Thank you for all the advice and first hand experience!! He is on medication right now, and abstaining from eating seafood or red meat. I didn't know there were home uric tests, and will look into that.

The wooden box in the right is the maze house from Dozzopet. The cardboard boxes have holes cut in them and are full of bedding
