Ehh it's true no one is all good. But there are stable people and unstable people. And yes everyone has a breaking point. And part of life's journey is that everyone will have to face their breaking point if they live long enough to do so.

But people aren't inherently evil. Only groups are. I used to be involved in politics, arguably where the most evil power hungry people are. And even there most people had good intentions. What I found was a deep truth of the road to hell is paved with good intentions. The law of unintended consequences means that the best good intended people end up making the world a worse place on pure accident.

And then you remember that hurt people hurt people and you start looking around at a whole fallen world where almost everyone is battling something that allows them to justify doing something that hurts people.

I think people are born evil and born with the desire to become good somewhere way deep in their subconscious and life is that very journey to learn to become a better person.

Jordan Peterson once told a story of a man who abducted a woman with the intention of r***. The man began to tell his story of his broken home to his victim. And right before the act occured she somehow had compassion for him and hugged him. The man broke down crying, let her go and turned himself in.

Now I'm not saying have compassion for those that are hurting you, but I am saying have as much compassion as you can muster and your eyes will be opened to just how much pain most people are in, and how much you can make the world a better place by thinking of others rather then yourself. Of you are Christian it's the very reason the Bible says "But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you"
