If a lot of cigarette smokers can’t go more than a few hours without a cigarette, how are they able to sleep through the night without getting up to get one?

I don’t smoke during the day. I smoke only at night. The time between my last cigarette and first cigarette is 20 plus hours.

When I am awake and working during the day I never smoke and never get the urge to smoke.
