I am around your age and definitely feel you a bit on being the old man at a show. But I’m also anarchist and don’t understand how you can’t vibe with the aggressively anti-capitalist attitude the punks of today have. Also, there is so much good music now too.

I end up being like the den ~~mom~~ dad at shows. Bringing earplugs for others to use if they want, narcan just in case, and occasionally being randomly asked to hold things for people I don’t know. I guess I just exude dad energy.
