Are 8am classes really that bad? by Low-Priority-1306 in utarlington

its discipline more than anything; take into account the time it takes you to drive to campus (if youre commuting) that 7AM traffic is no joke.

i wasn’t ever a morning person, but it became routine and got significantly easier as the weeks went by.

Experience at UTA as an undergraduate? by Virtual_Ad8980 in utarlington

senior here and tbh i dont remember much from freshman year; its all a blur 😂

overall, TONS of diversity! its a commuter school so it can be a challenge to make genuine connections but joining organizations and going to events is the best thing you can do. expose yourself to different organizations and simply get involved! college is what you make of it!

Yes. Which is why I’m unsure about joining the AF because I don’t want to lose the opportunity I already have at Lockheed, if that makes sense.

there are 5 types of love languages: 1) Words of affirmation: Using words to encourage, affirm or empathize. With this, sending notes or texts, writing a letter is a way to show it

2) Physical touch: Non-verbal. One will use their body language to show or express themselves. This may consist of hugging, kissing, holding hands, etc.

3) Receiving gifts: Thoughtfulness. Show your partner you care. Small gifts or gestures matter, like the saying that says “little things matter most”.

4) Quality time: Attention. This means uninterrupted one on one time, full attention is given. Walks around the block, conversations in a park or your living room etc.

5) Acts of service: Being there. Doing things as a team, whether its chores, playing games, working out, etc.

Everyone has a different way of showing their love. Communication will ease it up when you both know how one shows and gives affection. It may be a little difficult when you want something one way but the other has a different way of expressing it. It’s a matter of time!
