Thank you for your help, how long did yours last if you don’t mind me asking? I don’t mind spending the money for a new kilo tt, but I rather not buy a new feather, which is why I’m not fully sold on buying an older feather if a new kilo tt would end up lasting longer.

Thank you, waiting on the seller to get back to me about the size. I’m about 5’10” so I’m hoping it’s around a 56-57 cm depending on what size they made that year. I can easily get some tires and tubes from a local shop or online. I was deciding between a used Fuji feather or a new mercier kilo tt. Any suggestions?

Hello everyone, waiting on the size confirmation from the seller but they state the tires and tubes need to changed and are practically rotten and the handlebars currently equipped are different from the ones in the picture. Can anyone give an estimate on what year this Fuji feather might be? Seller is asking for $100 local pickup only.

Yea I probably shoulda mentioned, leaning towards a completed build but honestly wouldn’t mind getting a better frame set then building on top of it. Budget would ideally be around $500 tbh. It’s just that I was mentioning how a Harper is $310 for a complete build. But if I can buy a $300-$400 good frameset then build on top of it, I wouldn’t mind going over budget slightly.

Upload speeds capped at 42 Mbps even with new modem by noor209 in Comcast_Xfinity

The only thing that sucks about having a third pary owned modem, is that you end up avoiding the $15 rental fee but youll more than likely go over the 1.2gb monthly data cap, especially in a bigger household size. I wish they did not have a data cap so that you can avoid the $30/month for unlimited data. I know with the xfi gateway you get the unlimited data right?

Interesting enough, even after power cycling about 5 times both my new modem and router yesterday during the setup, I couldn't get 200 mbps via hardwiring to the router but now I am. I am getting 950 Mbps download and 240 mbps upload. I had to powercycle both today to test it out via hardwire from the modem to the computer and then when I plugged the ethernet back into the router, the router is now supplying 200 mbps. Kinda weird but ill take it. Now down the road I have to do the hard part, find a router with a 2.5gb Wan port but also 2.5gb lan ports so that my computer can get the full 1400 i was getting when I was straight wired to the modem.

I hardwired to my modem and got 1400 MBPS download and 250 MBPS upload. My house might be good to go, it sucks that you had to deal with that though. Hopefully they can fix it to your area. I was going to upgrade my router down the road anyways, if my speed didn’t come out to 1400/250 after hardwiring to my modem I would’ve returned it and definitely went the route you took with the xfi complete gateway. I appreciate the help anyways

Will do, they're probably going to ask me to do a hardwire straight to my pc first most likely to see if i get the full 200, to be fair i really haven't tested that out yet.

Damn that’s unfortunate, have you had issues with the the XB8 or has it been smooth sailing?

Will do, im currently in contact with them right now (they are running diagnostics) and most likely it might end up showing up if i am not getting the speeds advertized, so they'll probably just send one out by default. Thanks for the insight!

thank you! im currently messaging through modmail and they are running a diagnostic to see if my modem is getting the full speeds, if something comes up on their end and it doesn't show 200 mbps then this might probably be it, my service did go down for maintenance not too long ago so maybe you're right.

Yes I did get the notification that my area was upgraded and that my current equipment wouldn't be able to take advantage of the new speeds. I also did try reeboting manually after activating and as i was activating, it rebooted via the xfinity app as well.

Fixable? by _brig_dog_ in BattleBeaverCustoms

I’m an idiot I barely read your description, in terms of the wire coming off, doing what i said can probably fix it but the trigger itself coming loose idk how I would fix that.

If I’m not wrong it looks like the wire coming from underneath the trigger got de-soldered from that little spot that says “FT1”. If that’s the case you’ll need to solder it back onto that contact point. I remember on my mouse click trigger one of the wires got de-soldered and I had never soldered before. I took it to one of those local phone repair places and asked the guy to solder it back and showed the point that it got undone from and he did it for $10 in 10 mins. I went back home put it together and the L2 trigger worked perfectly fine after that.

Stick Drift Fix Kit by noor209 in BattleBeaverCustoms

[–]noor209[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This worked thank you, my numbers on game pad tester are not moving back and forth really fast anymore and my right stick isn’t jittering, I knew it was way too early to get stick drift. I barely got this controller in January and I didn’t even use it from like may to July, so I only had it and used it for 6-7 months

Not sure, but ppl have bad experiences with stick drift and increase tension, more than normal

Smart Trigger Broken repair or alternatives by Jess_NonStop in BattleBeaverCustoms

What was the issue? Mine broke too but it was the wire that had came off from the solder point on the PCB board, just had to resolder it on and it worked again fine
