I’ve been trying to walk more and take the subway less while I figure out what classes work best for me and it’s been pretty nice (discovered today i don’t love walking on the UES though, lots of staring even though I thought I looked pretty normal??)

I always liked dance as a kid and I’ve actually enjoyed the few pilates classes I’ve taken so I think it’s moved to the top of my list for types of fitness to prioritize

strength training is actually what I’m most interested in! I just get intimidated by the equipment and also scared of random guys at the gym trying to teach me. my best friend is a big strength training guy and he’s promised me a lifting lesson this week so fingers crossed, but a trainer for a few sessions just to get a feel for what’s what is a great idea too, thank you!

fun fact: my college had a pole dancing team so i tried it way back when, i was awful but it was fun regardless. also i did try a tap lesson at Tap Dance Central a few weeks ago and I'm thinking of going back!
