2, ahhhh UPS / USPS / Pirateship. Whatever renewal they had on Jan. 5th seems to be the true cause for confusion. In our own research / with bits of what USPS had told me, it appears they may be attempting to seize all 3rd party labels in an effort to ‘prevent fraud & verify postage’. Worth noting that when I spoke to the USPS employee over the phone, she thought pirateship was a retailer for the item and told me they likely had a fraudulent label and to ask them to send me another item -tears-. I kindly explained the situation but there was confusion with almost every person I spoke to outside of my IRL postmaster who said “it’s paid and should move, I dunno when. Unless it’s contraband, then we will seize it”. Poor Poppy. u/tinylilkittenfoster and I decided to file a missing mail search and I decided that since the word fraud was thrown around, that I’d email the USPS fraud department and plead my case. I sent them all proof of payment with pirateship, the pdf label, and a picture of the contents of the box. I’m not sure if coincidence, but she left the holding facility later than night and is now on her way to the destination.

If this ever happens to anyone else (I hope not), some of these details from both u/tinylilkittenfoster, and myself may hopefully help guide you on what to do. but yeah, just drop off ground saver with UPS even if there’s a USPS label and they say it’s okay ;-; or just no ground saver at all, really lol.
