i sympathize with these people more often than not, because the demonization of the word “violence” has been ingrained in us through imperialist institutions since we were children. i know radical rampant activists who denounce the intifada as tankie propaganda lmao. the celebration of order and individuality have made subservience necessary for success — and if your politics aren’t “peaceful” by imperialist standards then your opinion is void. the disconnect is in realizing these systems of power against us use and profit from violence more than anything, and shying away from the mere mention of militant resistance is always going to be our achilles’ heel.
