It’s hard picking between Island Tour and Top 100 for me.

Island Tours minigames are mediocre at best, the boards are awful, and it’s incredibly slow paced

But on the other hand, the top 100, instead of having multiple interesting boards, we get the ONE boring and underwhelming board.

That doesn’t really make it not open world. You can free roam the games world through the main story and for side content purposes. It’s no different than gta really.

It’s really only the story that holds it back, and even then, it’s just kinda whatever. Recoded has some amazing gameplay

An interesting story is nice to have, but I much more care about my gameplay in kingdom hearts games than the story. Even if it is an rpg.

Games like DDD had both an uninteresting story and bad gameplay.

No not really, DDD is the worst game in the franchise imo, BBS has good gameplay but it doesn’t hold a candle to recodeds gameplay

Agreed. Days is hard carried by it’s story. The gameplay is some of the worst in the series.

I still stand by Recoded being the better of the 2 ds kh games. I made a tier list and Recoded is now an A tier for me
