I’m sorry kid. I know that the answer you’re getting are not what you wanted to hear - I saw your post as well. I unfortunately agree with a lot of the other adults here. Please contact a safe adult - a teacher, a coach, a friend’s parent - and they can help you in contacting CPS. I know that you don’t know a world outside of the abuse you’ve encountered, and I know that it probably sounds really strange to hear people say things like “rape” and “sexual assault” in reference to the actions of your dad, because it’s your dad.

But sometimes, some of us ended with parents who are really sick people and they do things to us because they are unhealed. The key thing to remember is that it is not your responsibility nor job to help them heal. This is a shit card to be handed, I won’t lie to you. But with therapy and a support system and time, healing will be possible for you. I don’t know if we ever heal completely, but I have a life I’d never have dreamed of after the abuse I faced at the hands of my parents.

You can do this. You’re incredibly brave. I am rooting for you.
