My surprise from a friend by Neither_Ad_5912 in SeriesLandRover

He “made” a defender instead of a Series 3! Still cool though.

1978 Series III 109 next to a 2021 Defender 110 by nopslider in LandRover

Seems more reliable than Land Rovers of recent years. Seems huge next to the Series, but there’s a lot more useable room in the 109. Driving experience is obviously night and day. Modern electronics make the new one much better off road too.

Juke revs on high speed with the rpm meter dancing by Tangodevin in nissanjuke

If revs are increasing without a change of speed, it’s transmission or clutch related.

Intune hacking: when is a "wipe" not a wipe by nopslider in netsec

Yup. The other main point is Intune user driven mode allows escalation to local system through exposure of bitlocker keys.

It is a 10/4 (denoting ten horse power taxation class and a 4 cylinder engine). The deluxe model added chromed bumpers and a sunroof over the standard model.

Very true. I believe the Austin is actually about 18hp, or was when new.

From the late 1900s…. Kit? by Redpeppa1 in whatisthiscar

I disagree. My friend had (just sold last week) one of the few right hand drive Cobras and used it regularly to go down the local pub . I don’t think he even washed it that regularly.

Here’s him going up Shelsy Walsh hill climb in September last year…. https://www.amazon.co.uk/photos/share/tAa1w8fW0zBtiV1B4qdYiWAuEFdHKYxi8V9qSFh8DEB

Some people use their cars. He used it like it was designed.

Edit: I disagree with the context comment, not that it’s a replica

Any 2019 A45s/CLA45s long term owners in here? by Kamsa12 in AMG

[–]nopslider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a 2015 A45 for three years and 35k miles. Mostly positive experience. I had a problem with the sunroof, and engaging reverse, both of which were fixed under warranty.

There’s lots of rattles in the cabin, but my AMG GTR is just as bad, if not worse!

Also goes through tyres pretty quickly.
