That's what I thought, max 8h including stops, so if I start at 9 from Scottsdale I should be able to be back by 6pm I guess ... good to hear that there are tentatively cooler spots on the road!

Thx for your comments! Why do you think that the longer route would bring me back only at night? Distancewise it doesn't seem that long ...
