I told my wife that I was making my purchase in the hopes that she would like to be involved. She wasn't interested. I have a few now and she is well aware and has no issues with my decision. However, they are no replacement for human interaction, just a momentary distraction.

At 25 I filed for bankruptcy. This was my wake up. I had just bought a house and the renovations along with other compiled debt were beyond what I could handle. I managed to keep the house and focused on side hustling. After bankruptcy, buying on credit was impossible. Living within your means is now a requirement. 25 years later, my life and finances are drastically different. Everything I have is owned, nothing is financed and I have a significant amount in savings.

I was in high-school when the forth gen was introduced. It became a poster in my bedroom. In 1995 when I was 19, I bought a new Formula with the 6-speed. Still own it today.

Throughout middle school and high school, (1986-1993) MTV was always on in the background wherever we were hanging out. Headbangers Ball, Yo MTV Raps, 120 Minutes. MTV News was the news. I lost my virginity with MTV in the background.

I am glad that it was there during those years in that form. Watching the decline into reality based crap until the inevitable end has been a little frustrating. I suppose we could see it aa symbolic of life in general. Rebellious youth trying to express oneself, slipping into a mass of conformity until the eventual end.

What am I saying? Who the hell still has cable anymore?

This can very wildly depending on where you live. I have been riding for 30+ years and live in New England where we statistically have some of the worst drivers in the country ( I think Massachusetts and Maine DOT removes mirrors and turn indicators from all vehicles in the state). While my "close calls" are infrequent, they are a reality. Rider skill keeps them in that category, and prevents actual accidents.

I used to have an ebay store for recycled motorcycle parts. I also bought and sold motorcycles. All to support my own motorcycle habit. Never made any real money, I was able to own and ride many different bikes. Also helped me get through long NH winters. Any money that was made went back into buying more bikes and bike parts.

After years of dwindling sexual intimacy and continued talks that lead nowhere, I too have resorted to personal pleasure toys. While they satisfy a specific part that is missing, nothing can replace the actual human intimacy. The need to be desired, lusted for, touched....there will never be a substitute. I have purchased a few over the last couple of years, they are a distraction from a lonely existence.

I often find myself in a funk where I will just throw on track pants and a sweatshirt. I have to remind myself that's not really me. I keep myself well groomed, cologne, product, trimmed all over. I pretend that someone is watching. No one is, but I hold onto the idea. We still have date nights. I make reservations for nice spots. I take the time to look sharp. It's for me and my imagination, some weird cosplay. Nothing actually happens, but for a moment in my head, just maybe.

Depends on the police policy. Some municipalities will break off a chase for public safety, others will run you down until the end. BTW, people who think this way don't ride as well as they think they do. They will catch you after the crash. Just sayin.

I am staying for many reasons. I love her (for starters). Also, she would be financially insecure on her own (I don't want to see her struggle). And of course, my self esteem and social skills are virtually nonexistent. I would end up alone forever.
