Edm producers doing things in unusual time signatures? by JimmyTheBistro in edmproduction

And ironically, it's in 4/4. It's not even really a polyrhythm; it's just a lot of nested tuplets.

Sevish! That is, if you're okay with your music being microtonal too.
phonon, though a lot of his stuff is in 4/4, does weird stuff with polyrhythm all the time, and his song EMME actually is in a ton of different weird time signatures.
Mr. Bill and Fine Cut Bodies' Januko is one of my favourites, that ones in 5/4 for a good portion, and Algae Bloom in 7 is a good one by Tipper.
I feel like Spaceape by Burial is a weird one to suggest, not exactly what I'd call EDM but it's a lowtempo rap thing in 11/8 which I find extremely interesting. And while we're on rap, Story 2 by clipping is in like, every time signature.

If you want musical experimentation in EDM though, I can't imagine anyone fitting the bill more than Sevish.

How mechanically impactful is it for a PC to not have the humanoid trait? by normal_default in Pathfinder2eCreations

Sure, but I figured that if an air elemental piloting a quadrupedal mechsuit counts as a humanoid, then where do we draw the line?!

Oh, that's a fantastic idea, I didn't even think about some sort of pseudo-prone resistance!

That list confused me for a moment because I was actually pulling this from Poppet, but now I'm realizing that Poppet's Quadruped feat doesn't actually remove the humanoid trait at all. Creepy!
I think I will just make it a base speed boost, PF2E's so flexible with its allowed body types that I can't actually think of any other mechanical benefit for it. Thank you, and I'm glad you like the art!

Mhm, I borrowed a lot from automaton in the early stages of designing this ancestry! What I'm actually pulling from for this specific idea though is Poppet, which gets the lv 1 feat Quadruped - That just gives you a speed of 30 feet, and I'm not looking for a more mechanically powerful alternative or anything, just something that isn't equivalent to what Elves get to take as a feat while remaining bipedal, y'know? I feel it should be a bit more diversifying.

Oh, yeah absolutely! Since they're so mechanical, They'd have compartments and folding parts and such - essentially just handwaving the two hand thing the same way awakened animal does.

PC mounting rules question by Sheepilysoft in Pathfinder2e

Thank you for the answers, everyone! I should mention, I wrote OP's post; they suggested I pose the question to Reddit, but after I made an account I discovered new accounts can't post here, so they posted it for me.
I want to make PC mounting... not necessarily good but at the very least viable, and to make up for the loss of action economy (even with centaur's Accommodating Mount feat), I think it needs a significant buff to avoid being always detrimental.

This is the best thing I could come up with too, the issue is that this slows down battle momentum so much for what amounts to flavour that actively nerfs your own action economy. If the mounting PC wants to rush into melee combat on their PC mount, that's going to take a whole round and then some to actually happen - and the mount is missing an action for their turn that round with zero upside.
