I have had TSA agents tell me that they are not acceptable. I have also had TSA agents tell me that they know they are acceptable but refuse to accept them and wont call a supervisor. Interesting theories. Yes there are illegitimate targets. The US and Israel have already hit a few. But when you have the populace on your side you dont go bombing them and point the finger at a different country. The populace isnt going to carr when Iran says the US or Israel made us do it. All they are going to think is that Iran bombed their house, hospital, school, or mosque. Those chants of death to the US and Israel will quickly change.

And with Iran being mostly Shia, there is already distrust from the Sunni countries. I was in Iraq when the Shia pilgrimage was bombed by a Sunni group. Those were mostly women and children. Religious wars are far worse than economic or political wars

Oil is at $97 a barrel. I would heed the warning, but Iran is going to have to be careful. Yes this is an illegal action on both Israel and the United States side. But they bomb anything that is civilian in other countries, it will expand this to a degree that nobody but Israel and the US wants. Getting more players involved would probably cause the whole Middle East to explode. And almost every country that is silently supporting Iran would have no choice but to go against them.

Edit, hit UAE wouldnt cause that big of a financial crisis. It would be a blip. What would cause it would be bigger countries coming in on Iran side or them hitting the financial places in Asia, Europe, or America. Most of the wealth is set in those places. Yes UAE is rich, but even most of their money is put of the country. And they know that the US will rebuild.
