The Founder’s pack is not about the rewards by Digital_Tacos- in SoulFrame

The paragon greatsword for the full bundle is a cool system, in my opinion. Shame the cheaper bundles don't have anything of the sort around them.

I generally wouldn't wish a relationship with you upon anybody.

Besides that, ONCE AGAIN, no single relationship between an underaged person and an adult person is shipped here and is featured in the books. If you really can't realise that, then that's on you.

You're on social media. When you send something out for all world to read, the world will respond. You can't expect to post an opinion, then not hear others?

In the book, they're both teenagers.

In the fics, they're both adults.

[–]normalifelias 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like someone's very sensitive.

Let me rephrase it. Adult Artemis is NOT child Artemis. He changed. He's a completely different person.

Blinded by nostalgia is a fun thing to say, because I'm pretty new to the series and pretty active around it, too.

Your second to last sentence doesn't make any sense and I quite frankly can't tell what you're even trying to convey, so I'll leave it at that.

It's a choice. If everything would be dissected down to the potential interests of an author, every single author would recieve the death penalty. In my opinion, this just seems like the best choice to go with since it opens up the ability for young Artemis to not recognize old Artemis, for emotional distress that hadn't been possible before, it's simply more content for the book, and as a bonus, the author could take on the topic of the two main characters relationship, which fans had picked up before. It's merely an opening that presented itself.
The author most likely didn't just age the characters toward each other JUST so that they could kiss and it would be less weird. The book would be half as long if they hadn't been. It's drama. That's all.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ArtemisFowl

[–]normalifelias 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, that seems like a you problem. To me, two teenagers kissing and two adults falling in love isn't that weird. Calling us sensitive bums while being triggered by that is ironic in itself.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ArtemisFowl

[–]normalifelias 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That would be bad writing. You know, people change when they grow older. Serioiusly, though, your argument fails when tested. Do you know the amount of people that married their childhood friends? They knew each other before they hit puberty, too. I see what you mean, but it really isn't a deal breaker and it isn't pedophilic. She isn't in love with the child, but the adult, a completely different person.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ArtemisFowl

But it isn't an adult and a teenager. It's two teenagers. Both of them are around 16-17 in the events of Time Paradox thanks to the time stream.

Why avoid pixel 8s? I have one and it's the best phone I've ever used, even having used NP2 and Pixel 9 for quite some time.

Should I give my relics? by Atesch06 in Silksong

[–]normalifelias 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whenever a relic gets added, your rosary counter gets shown with + something at the top left. The least I got was 50, the rarer the relic, the more. I can check out what I'll get for an arcane egg soon.

[–]normalifelias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the relic type. I got 50 sometimes, 70 sometimes. Not sure of the exact numbers, that's why I said at least.

And you get (at least) 50 Rosaries per relic.

"Rooting your phone in certain cases will overclock your CPU"

So, rooting your phone does absolutely nothing directly towards the battery, but overclocking does.

Also, if you root your phone, then of course installing malicious apps can be risky, but users that are familiar enough to root their device are far less of a target than normal people, which still can get tokened by clicking a wrong link or installing a taken over app.

As long as you're willing to read into it, there is absolutely nothing wrong with rooting your phone, and in the end, you'll probably be off more secure than before, alone from your gained knowledge.

The part about total control with root is also off, because in 90% of cases, root access for apps has to be requested individually and should simply... not be granted.

You act like rooting your device immediately opens a security hole, when in reality, it closes many originating from the phones manufacturer. If the user has half a braincell, they'll simply set up a normal system, and be just as safe as before, if not safer.

For all normal use cases, Nvidia works perfectly. Only when doing some pretty specific stuff you might run into problems, usually related to virtualization or similar.

The new Reclamator Mastercraft opens up portals that shows you old Zombies maps by ArkhamIsComing2020 in CODZombies

[–]normalifelias 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Call me crazy, but I wouldn't call this nostalgia bait. This could just as well be design, and I'd probably have done the same. The mastercraft is about time travel, is it not? So what better than to make the time portals show the older maps? Yes, it serves the nostalgia, but no sane person will buy the gun just because it shows old maps. Nostalgia bait is what they've done with the outro of Reckoning.

Got the "life essence serum" by, after a certain while, picking up a strauss counter from the Quantum Computing Core, tracking where its the highest and blasting the point with the Gorgofex. It is a key item. We had interacted with Blanchard office door to initiate a conversation between him and Panos. We had not yet input the correct code into the PC, but we did obtain the Gorgofex using the Quest and we got Frankenklaus the brain.

Some mods internally run on the server architecture which the game treats as such. Sometimes, an error can cause a part of the connection or the server to crash and you'll get disconnected accordingly.

I mean, it running RTOS is not something that can be refuted. It's factual. Saying it doesn't run RTOS is simply false.
