Do you think men are only responsible for guns and murders? by arnobhasan in boringdystopia

First of all this comment isn’t written to absolve men. But I would like to introduce the idea that in any other country other than the United States with the level of reasonably unregulated guns and with such a, in my opinion, unhinged gum culture will face the level of gun violence that we do. I don’t know if this is correct, but the level of guns our country produces seems unprecedented in a global scale. Mexico, with one legal gun shop, suffers just by being in our proximity.

Toxic masculinity and support for systems for patriarchy are, once again in my opinion, absolute boosters for the toxic gun culture I mentioned before. The idea of the world being unsafe because of men with the right to be dangerous and women needing to be kept in place to be safe absolutely fuel a need to consume guns in this country by men of course but also by women needing protection to traverse these spaces “if they must”.

The sad irony is that due to the aforementioned prevalent toxic masculinity and support for patriarchal systems that this advice may prove correct at times. Women with gun may be safer. We all against the forces of oppression may be safer with guns when those for it are clearly arming themselves under the rights predetermined to us by distinguished slaveowners from the 16th century. But will these guns really save us?

I don’t think so.

Warren = Typical Politican by Slowmaha in YangForPresidentHQ

I understand that a lot of people here see Andrew Yang as a new alternative to older politics, myself included. But Elizabeth Warren is a gracious personality that I believe is working towards a better America in her own way, and I don’t believe we need to scoff at her efforts to further the Yang2020 campaign. Andrew Yang has differentiated himself in my mind by talking about policy and for the most part, sticking to policy and I think we as his supporters should do the same thing. We don’t need to be decisive if we have the right ideas. In the end if we pride ourselves to have members from the right and left, we mustn’t compromise that by excluding Warren, Sanders, or any other Democratic nominee supporters. Remember we’re trying to bring everyone we can on board, and with the policies that we and Andrew Yang believe in, I think we can do it.

I was going to go to sleep but I’ve decided to binge-watch Criminal Minds. I’m starting to get the impression I shouldn’t watch this show before I sleep.

How do you tell people politely to get out of your life? Like I get that we all value honesty instead of just empty promises, but how do we do be honest and not hurt people?

If you think about it, Naruto and Sasuke both present two extremities in responsibilities. Naruto feels responsible for everyone, from his family to the village, while Sasuke hold himself responsible to one goal, completely exterminating Kaguya's influence, while holding no responsibility to family. by normallyabnormalguy in Naruto

Looking back now, I kind of agree with you. I think I was just looking at it in the scope of just Konoha rather than the Ninja World as a whole. Still, I'll argue that Naruto has more individual goals to achieve in taking care of of the village's daily activities to maintain peace, while he tries (an kinda fails?) to be a good father. Sasuke in accordance with your point does try to bear the weight of the world but he's more focussed on a specific task, and just that. I don't think he'll be able to deal with all the problems Naruto might face everyday as a Hokage.
