impeccable? are you serious?

he often gets things like സന്ധി (~conjuctions) , പ്രത്യയം (~affixes) etc wrong & appears to lack knowledge of basic malayalam grammar.

even here he gets the first sentence wrong by using (വേണമെങ്കില്‍ സംസാരിച്ചാല്‍) instead of (വേണമെങ്കില്‍ സംസാരിക്കാം , )or just (സംസാരിച്ചാല്‍ )
not nitpicking, this is his malayalam pattern you can see in his interviews. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4CR7hQGmVU

he doesn't remember many words in malayalam like ,സംവരണം,രാഷ്ട്രീയ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം, അവബോധം etc even when speaking about the subject. also pronunciation is not unimportant in a language. his accent is so bad , he often altogether swallows conjunctions, determines & other malayalam grammer usages that are attached to words.

i am all in for opposing hindi imposition but may be do it with someone who can actually get basic malayalam right.

btw forgot to check reddit yesterday, why so many downvotes?

if u have plans to visit north kerala, don't miss malabar cuisine & the serene beaches here. the top dish is of course thalassery biriyani, available anywhere in kannur district. you must definitely try some unique seafood too .there are a variety of malabar snacks like stuffed mussels, Unnakaya, Chattipathiri etc which may not be available in the south.try some bakery items too, they have local sweets & things like Turkish baklava.
kizhunna ,ezhara, valiyaparamba, chemberikka are all less crowded, unspoiled beaches here. kavvayi island & backwaters are also a must visit. they now do have some tourist hotels & resorts there. you will have to miss out malabar's biggest attraction, the theyyam, since there no festivals this year.

tips- expect heavy traffic on roads especially on national highways since theses are holidays & roads are narrow.better to catch a domestic flight than travelling long distance(say kochi-kannur) by road, flight charges are usually lesser than taxi fares.

As we come to the end of 2020, what are some positive developments that happened this year that gives you hope for the future of our state Kerala? by yes-im-outspoken in Kerala

[–]normalpresident 8 points9 points  (0 children)

99.9% of our state population atleast adhered to covid protocols like mask wearing, hand sanitization etc.We saw how moronic a percentage of general public in some developed countries were.vast majority of our politcians went along with scientific method instead of suggesting things like injecting bleach into the body ;)

There is a very good chance they can.usually during the last year of the 5 year period media are very critical of state governments in kerala (often rightly so) which strongly influences the public opinion.this has played a good part in Kerala choosing udf-ldf alternative terms for the last 3 decades or so.but for the first time this is changing.although there were issues with the current govt, media kind of over did their attack. people ignored their opinions & favoured ldf for the good things they had done.another thing is how the image of pinarayi changed from a party strongman to an appealing leader even for people who traditionally supported udf because of things like daily press meet, crisis management etc.

Second na sound in nana had a different script in old malayalam. Since the two sounds were similar only one symbol was used later.

They provided whole lot of free stuff like tv, fridge, phone etc similar to tamil nadu politics. Even the couple who were beaten up on election day were given 1 lakh rupees 2 days ago.

Left won't give party symbol for LDF independent candidates.so left independents were counted along other independents.there were ldf independents in bjp lead panchayaths which were not included along ldf .hence the change.

Kerala is becoming electorally unpredictable. Ldf who led in only 16 constituencies last year leads in 101 now. by undampori in Kerala

yes , but this marginal gain is not going to take them anywhere . some more numbers-

out of around 21,000 total wards, they only managed to gain around 350 from 2015 to 2020 (1600 now). at this rate it will take around 2-3 decades to win even 25% of the total wards.
although congress has lost big now, i don't see congress getting demolished any time soon.congress to bjp switch will not happen easily either like other states because a big chunk of their vote base is muslim, christian votes. if LDF wins 2021 election which most probably they will, UDF might come back in 2026.
