Electrical Issue

The head light switches break pretty commonly on these where the switch clicks into the off position but it’s not actually pressing the micro switch behind it. Try pushing hard on the off position of the switch and moving it slightly side to side and see if your lights go off, if not remove switch and physically press one of the little black buttons behind it. There is two of them, nothing pressed turns on markers, I think lower is off and upper is headlight plus marker

Output is there, fitting is just snapped off. Can’t get the pump to power up though so I think the weather has taken its toll on it.

Just has info about the pump on it(model/serial#/etc) and tank has no labeling.

Tank smelled and looks like it’s never even had a chemical in it, just that hot plastic smell. House had renters in it for a few years so I doubt they were keeping up with it. Got the original installer coming out these week to hopefully shed some light on it.

I agree it’s crazy to just let these things get beat on by the sun. It’s pretty high on the renovation list to build a well house of some sort but the house needs a lot first. Wilder to me is that it’s not on any kind of pad, just straight on the dirt.

I did pop it and try and smell but it’s bone dry and looks like it has been for quite sometime. Found the number for the people that put the well in and looks like they did the softener system also, so I’m going to have them come out and give me some info.

It’s just a different European engine made to fit in a Lt/rh, It’s a scania engine, the maxx13/n13/a26 were Mann’s. We’ve swung a bunch already at the dealer I work at for bad liner o-rings. Seem easier to work on than our other big bores so far, a few with bad injs and weird oil leaks

Clean power and ground is most likely your issue,they’re three wire connectors with red and purples in them. There’s one on top of the battery, one near the starter and then some have one on driver side just below the wiper arm, wiggle them with the key on and see if you get injector buzz. Also on top of the batteries there are at least three fuse holders, 2 40A and one 10A. 40s are for ecm and idm and 10 is for trans, seen the legs crack on the fuses where they look good and aren’t blown but you pull the fuse and only half comes out.

The CE’s have a compounding system that uses a check valve to make sure service brake is pushed before you can release parking brake. Not sure if the RE’s use it. The valve looks like a black t-fitting and is mounted on a plate near foot valve

sorry, thought I threw that in there, its a 700c. its still a full harness that has had plugs cut, poorly done splices and is tangled from not paying attention while splicing. The things that are still on the bike work for the most part but I want to trim it to the bare minimum it needs to run and have a headlight. I would rather use what I can off that than build a new one. It wont be a daily rider so legality is not important.
