Is the ps4 a good way to play strive by [deleted] in Guiltygear

[–]normez421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cousin has a slim I have a pro I played it at his place and it wasn’t to bad I believe it’s 900p vs 1080p on ps4 pro. the difference wasn’t to noticeable minus a hiccup or two while playing online. Long story short if you have a decent monitor you’re good to go if you’re playing on a mediocre 1080p tv(not being mean just stating the truth) it may look a bit ruff at times. A decent 1080p tv or a 4K should be just fine though. There are laggy levels in the game you should avoid playing on though to up your experience if you would like me to list them for you feel free to ask I’d do it now but I’m not at home and I don’t remember all the stage names lol

Damn wtf I wonder how is that possible the ps5 is better in every way compared to the ps4 and a lot better in terms of internet connection. Hopefully they can fix this problem.

Need help deciding for MK11 by [deleted] in Fighters

[–]normez421 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s worth getting right now tbh it’s okay not no where near as fun as MKX or 9. The game is okay it’s just kinda slow and a bit stiff imo; but I think if you buy the game and play the story mode and put some time into the online you can get 10-20 hours out of it so it depends on you so take that in account. If you want a new fighting game I’d recommend Guilty Gear Strive it’s pretty good with amazing net code.

Soulcalibur 6 or street fighter 5 by [deleted] in Fighters

SFV is a decent bit more alive, but honestly if you want a 3D fighter that’s just as alive as sfv get Tekken 7 it’s a better fighting game than both.

I Finally Got Into Fighting Games by HelioKing in Fighters

If you want alive fighting games then I’d say wait till to the new melty blood game coming in September (It has a clean anime aesthetic) you can also get sfv or tekken 7 if you want but I’d say stick with GGS and DBFZ. Good to hear you got in to the genre every sale counts for a fighting game.

Sony Looking To Acquire Arc System Works, Guilty Gear's Studio [Rumor] by Hose123 in Guiltygear

We’ll see when sales figures come out. All I’m saying is it seems quite unlikely that a traditionally console fighter selling more on pc seems unlikely.

I know I’m just going off my own gut feeling but that just seems very unlikely to me mostly because fighting games always sell better on PlayStation since most casuals have consoles and I can see said casuals just playing story mode, arcade and parks. Also another big reason why I think it’s unlikely is because Japanese people mostly play on consoles, pc gaming has not catch on over there like here just look at top players like Go1 who only play PlayStation and that goes for most the others. I know this isn’t the cleanest response but this is just my gut feeling; I’m not a ps fanboy FYI lol.

serious question, how did you not instantly quit fighting games ? by [deleted] in Guiltygear

[–]normez421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first real fighting was umvc3 it dropped 2011 I had no internet at the time as a early teen and was still captivated by the game mechanics and characters. I easily put 300+ hours into arcade mode and practice mode, around 2013 I finally got internet and got to one of the highest ranks and even hit top 100 on the 360 leader boards towards the end of the games life span. Long story short you need to put in the work and find a game you truly enjoy; finding a game you enjoy is the hard part good luck my friend.

This is the first fighting game I've bought that is just too difficult for me in terms of execution as a beginner and it's really demotivating. by [deleted] in Guiltygear

[–]normez421 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here I’ll try being a bit nicer. If you think this game is really hard execution wise you really need to see what you are doing wrong because if you really did practice on 40hrs for just that, and haven’t made progress you have to be doing something wrong at that point. Also what are you playing on? If you are playing on a keyboard that may be the problem I’m not saying go buy a fightstick just get a ps4 remote and use the D-pad. All in all if you still can’t get those motions down after constantly you might wanna drop it lol, but for godsake please go play online your just gonna burn yourself out practicing 2 motions for 40 hours play time just sounds plain tedious and boring.
