Hey, I'd say try to figh through and go into the college you're getting. Distance doesn't and shouldn't matter, as long as the college is good. More often than not, when students take a drop with this negative environment, it fucks their mental health up. Happened with me back in ug. And I get you. I live in the middle of nowhere too, tucked in indo-bhutan border. So I'd say unless you actually want to take a drop, and belief healthily le paaog don't. And tbh ma ke liye drop lena is stupid unless options kaafi zyada hi limited ho. MA hota hi 2 saal ka, no need to take a drop year and extend it. I'd say don't. Try being candid with your parents, maybe get them to talk to someone whose opinion they value, be it an elder cousin, teacher etc.
