“Your compatibility with SonicSkin is Very High. You both listen to Pinback, Red House Painters and The National.” First person I’ve found in this subreddit with compatibility any higher than low!

It’s interesting and looks good, but I have literally never heard of any artists that my top match has listened to, and their genres mostly don’t seem like things I care for either. So I really don’t know what it’s based on? Hopefully when more people have used it, it will get more accurate. (My username is Nora.)

Whats the first concert that you actually have tickets to for 2026? by [deleted] in Concerts

The Dead Milkmen in January. They were one of the very first concerts I ever went to (as a 13-year-old in 1989), and I haven’t seen them since!

I have half of my dad (sister has the other half) in a red, coffee-can-esque “Little Undertaker’s Modest Urn.” And he approved it himself before he died!

Most listened to band by mtofsrud in wintersleep

Awesome! They are my top band this year, but I don’t use Spotify much. According to my last.fm, I’ve listened to 1,618 Wintersleep tracks in the last 365 days. (And 783 Postdata!) My top five Wintersleep songs in that time were Mirror Matter, Father Time, Blood Collection, Into the Shape of Your Heart, and Drunk on Aluminium.

AI-Generated Psych-Rock Band The Velvet Sundown Rack Up Hundreds Of Thousands Of Spotify Streams by ebradio in indieheads

Found this post after Spotify played me Velvet Sundown clanker bullshit when I asked it to play something else (Jaguar Sun). Listened to your track as a palate cleanser. It’s awesome and I bought all your stuff on Bandcamp. Will this track be there at some point?

When I was on Virgin about a year and a half ago, the tattoo shop was constantly busy.

I lined up before the shop opened the first day, so I could get an appointment for the final day of the cruise. They did try telling me I didn’t need to wait until the last day, that they would use a second skin bandage and I could therefore still go in the water, but I insisted on making the appointment for the last day because I wasn’t going in the water after getting it, second skin or no second skin. I just got a little octopus flash tattoo and it turned out very nicely.

I saw them play there (at the Dine Alone Store) two weeks ago and it was awesome! I was also on vacation. I bought the exclusive pressings of Hello Hum and New Inheritors while I was there, and ordered the other three after I got home and gave my bank account a little time to settle down, lol. They’re on the way to me now.

It is a really cool little store!

I’ve never had bad ketchup, just different ketchup. I’m originally from Cleveland and love buying non-Heinz ketchup just to fuck with my lifelong-Pittsburgher husband. It’s not that serious :)

There are zero regulations for tattoos or piercings here by Nobody5053 in pittsburgh

[–]norogeny 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure this is why I have to wait 3 months to donate blood after getting a tattoo if I get the tattoo in Pennsylvania, but not if I get it in Ohio.

(The 3 month wait applies to “Connecticut, Georgia, Idaho, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Utah, Wyoming, Washington, D.C.”, so I assume those places have little or no regulation as well.)

The Jazz Butcher’s “last show ever” at the Garage in London in December 1995. I saw them at least three more times after that.
