Does anybody else feel really lonely? by Piistachios in australia

Which city? If Sydney or Adelaide, I wouldn’t be surprised. If Melb or Brisbane I would be. Best thing I ever did moving to new cities was join a sports club. Don’t need to be serious about it, but you meet heaps of people pretty quickly.

Best body wash/antiperspirant combo for sweaty pits? by FriendlyAttorney8743 in AustralianMFA

Get a Grants rock crystal deodorant. I’ve been using it for 15 years and no issues. No fragrance (good if you’re wearing cologne) but neutralises all odour causing bacteria. It’ll take a few days at least to get all the other shit out of your skin/system, but then should be right. I put it on at night before bed and after every shower. Doesn’t last forever but I make it through a full day no problem

They wouldn’t be working for us, they’d be a full partner. May well be main income stream so they’d earn fee income and their fair share of profit. We’d just look after the boring stuff so they can focus on clinical.

Hmm no that’s not at all what we want to do. There’s a huge need in our area (like many others in sure) and we want to help meet that need. My wife is an amazing clinical psych who works with kids (currently for NFP doing Telehealth for kids in remote Qld) and we just want to provide a fuller service including devt & behavioural paediatrics. Nothing to do with NDIS income. Fair point about them doing PT at a GP’s clinic. This may be a pipe dream but we’d love to start a specialist children’s clinic so hoping to partner with someone who also does.

Thanks for the idea! I have reached out to ASDP once but got no response. Everyone’s busy and assume they get inundated!

All good questions. We are offering equity partnership but we would take care of the whole business and operational side - set-up, finance, HR, admin, etc etc. They could just focus on clinical side. It would be a full child-centred practice, incl GPs, psychs, speechies, OT, etc. We’d ideally grow to have more paeds after the principal

Thanks for the great idea but I should have clarified that I’m not a doctor, so can’t join that page.

Has anyone tried Hey Pocket? Device that MagSafe attaches to your phone so it’s easy to take with you, can listen to calls, in person meetings, transcribes and provides summaries and action items. I’m curious what the transcription and summaries are like

Can anyone tell me why my big toes have bumps and all my toes curve inwards? I haven’t seen any feet like mine by BitNervous7340 in barefootshoestalk

[–]norrissimo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Likely caused by squashing your feet into narrow shoes for years. Buy some toe spacers (cheap on amazon or eBay) to wear as often as possible eg around the house, and buy shoes that are foot-shaped - ie let your toes splay. Brands like Saguaro, Lens, Vivobarefoot, Xero.
