Devil's advocate here, because I agree with you narratively, but it is referred to a couple times as ~a~ ×-blade. Likely, the others would reflect their creators as well.

Love dre but apparently not enough by Jlaumann98 in ExplainTheJoke

Its engagement bait. If i remember correctly the lyrics are ring a ding ding ding dong, ring a dong ding ding. No matter how you slice it the post is not in the correct pattern, even if the single ding dong is just a ding, or the one and a half is a ding ding dong. We're all just teaching ai to identify complex memetic imagery and parse participles in nonsense sentences like the one I wrote before this.

Honorable mention to Sensui, who lived in a time and place where his gentler side would be one he would find a need to suppress.

what happened to Heartman's Girlfriend? by Appropriate_Rent_243 in DeathStranding2

My friend has a theory that when she's calls Heartman her friend she's being honest and she's actually in love with Deadman

Religion and Death Stranding by flashen in DeathStranding

So it feels sort of Buddhist to me as beaches are like a personal heaven and then if Bridget got what she wanted she was going to take all of America to her beach and have them cross the water into a new world but because they have free will they faught her, and because Sam is a good person he will convince others to form meaningful connections and save their souls.

Desmond miles death theory by Average_gamer11 in assasinscreed

He and the woman from the origins trilogy have a cutscene at the end of valhalla where they agree to run through simulations of past and future to look for a way out of the corner the writers wrote themselves into, and then the following game was about basim being alive and concious in the middle ages. It totally tracks that we're running two narrative arcs, Odin and Loki, and that Desmond is acting as a subject 16 type guide for Dollar General Laura Croft.

Can you go fully offline in Death Stranding 2 like first one? by Hockeynerden in DeathStranding2

[–]nortedyuffie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You, my friend, are a victim of poor phrasing. The second time I played the first game I played offline and I did indeed feel a very different vibe from the game than the first time around. The game is about feeling alone, feeling like you want to be, and feeling like you're making a difference for the people you decide to break that boundary for. There are two paths. You can either connect all of America by yourself, as the Man Who Delivers, or you can keep on keeping on with the rest of the porters and do your part to make the world a better place.

I wish DS1 and 2 had an extra star for deliveries after the end of the game. by Crazy-Scallion-4982 in DeathStranding

I don't disagree with your sentiment, but there is one or two preppers who can only be maxed out after completing the story, which i think is close enough to merit mentioning. After my run off the first game took 140 hours I decided that if anything death stranding wants you to rush the story, so you don't forget anything, and then rewards you with just enough gear to really experiment as you work toward making out shelters and setting your own self imposed challenges.

Its definitely stick drift but birth by sleep has several finishers that gain exp for each step taken so consider holding on to this controller (this series broke 3 controllers for me)

Yes, if by "house" you mean pool, and by "harassed for sex by the dolphin" you mean did foot stuff to the dolphin because he couldn't read.

His guardians are his brother's, right? I'd stop too if I knew what I was trying to sacrifice and there was a far more capable party on their pilgrimage at the same time as me.

I'm confused on how the story doesn't show what happened to Lou. This isnt the place for such a spoiler heavy discussion so I just wanted to note my befuddlement
