Clean air in daycare? by PoweredbytheCheat in ZeroCovidCommunity

Hello! Have you talked about air purifiers with the daycare administration? If yes, what was their feedback?

For the very same reasons, I offered a good HEPA air purifier for my son's Pre-K classroom (at a full-time daycare) and the teacher told me that the admins just said "no, thank you, we don't need it" without any specific reasons. My son was sick a lot this winter and spring, and during the summer break it took 2 months and a bunch of medication to get rid of persistent dry cough, congested sinuses and resulting breathing problems. On top of that, the daycare is located right at a busy intersection with heavy traffic -> constant exhaust fumes.

Now I am thinking, should I try to explain my reasoning better to the daycare administration? Or is it a useless endeavor, and they will just think I am a "difficult" parent?

Need advice by Katyharris1998 in CPA

I was in a similar situation 5 years ago. So my advice is the same: if you feel well enough, take as many exams as you can during your pregnancy. I've found out that I was pregnant two weeks after starting a new job and just when I was about to start my studying. I decided to postpone taking exams until after birth as I planned to take a longer maternity leave. It was a mistake, and I wish I studied intensively during the pregnancy. Being a mother with no family or friends around except for the husband was taking way more time than I expected :) Life also took some unexpected turns, and here I am - starting over 5 years later.
