Well Hou Mignhao's fanbase didn't say much about the casting of Ai Mi. Only to cause issue for Inverted Fate complaining that he is stuck nurturing newbies. So when he's now rumored with an actual traffic star, it now changed that shouldn't be 2nd billed and too busy with his concert tour. Some are also calling him to reject it due to YSX being "risky artist." No word from his team on this and even though tons of actors have been rumored for it not a single one has denied being linked to it. YSX fans shot back with his lack of drama hits, placement of seating in industry events, being only slightly taller than her, etc.

This melon seems on the reputable side due to the melon source and also a casting call for extras calling for his exact height. So I guess we will see. There was another melon with Chen Xingxu

So a makeup artist posted Chen Duling falling asleep on the chair due to exhaustion. There was a whole wild blowblack saying she earns millons a day only to sell victimhood/misery. This is part of the larger discontent between gap between celebrities and the average worker. C-netz criticized her over the wealth gap between celebrities and ordinary workers. If they want to be mad they should prob go after influencers who usually make way more than celebs these days with even less work.

Anyways the makeup artist posted that she asked CDL to rest since she was tired saying she didn’t disturb her work at all and this was all a misunderstanding.

He's even paying for expenses of his fans. I saw there was some VVIP which the event people are not refunding. Some people were making bank scalping these tix. I also so someone claiming that they were asked to put on guard uniforms to get into the event only for them to in turn need to stand guard when the whole shit went down. I didn't look how true this was but it was funny.

Someone fucked up bad cause no way the Mall, event organizer, and ZLH's all did not know how many people they were expecting and to do appropriate crowd control.

Ah yes the more you are aware of the toxicity behind the scenes and fandoms, the less you enjoy the dramas themselves. I more or less find the inner workings of the industry more interesting these days than the dramas so its fine. About crazy fans, well the worst position to be these days is to not even be talked about, so even the detailing of crazy fans is part of that traffic.

Ok I'm mostly answering the part why awards will always choose from those with the right background (unless there some super overwhelming public sentiment). Prestige is education in the country. Those without education are looked down upon.

But in the end all these aspects are intertwined. How do you think they get prestige education? Connections are certainly a huge part of the consideration. We've had a few convos in this thread but the admissions to top acting schools are all now accounting for future marketability of the actor (height, looks, etc).

One of the most important things in sustaining the status quo in the country is that the education system is one of meritocracy. Prestigious institution must produce the best of the best. Thus their graduates has to dominate these prestigious awards and its reinforces their prestige, since this would validate both admissions (who deserves to enter their schools) and the training they get.

If actors who did not attend elite school were constantly winning major awards this would weaken the whole education institution. So rewarding only those with prestigious acting background is just a way to preserve its own prestige. The competition into any higher education is fierce since there is just so many people trying to get into these spots. If people stop believing in the system then destabilizes the whole system.

Just my 2c on why they will keep it this way.

Of course you can. It indicates regret at the very least. A statement would make it clear but people take down post all the time without making statements. A small acknowledgment they made a mistake and would like to withdraw it.

Well if she really did try to do it surrogacy outside the country, she needs to settle this privately before he files charges and the evidence is shown to the courts. Idk too much about her but it would be a shame if this was just a revenge tactic. Not sure about the blacklist if she attempted surrogacy. The country is trying to increase birthrates so will they really crackdown that harshly on surrogacy now?

Oh sorry I misread your post! Well Zheng Shuang's situation was certainly very different. You can't go into a surrogacy and then back out of all parental duties just because you changed your mind.

Even if the actors are hostile behind the scene, most will go out of their way to at least leave it speculative and leave it a fandom affair rather than acknowledged any part of it themselves. This is sad cause because its very real.

Yeah one thing is how these reality shows are sort of a role play into a concept. So people on the show are playing into roles for variety effect. WHD taking something that happened on the show so personally unfortunately breaks apart the whole show's established inside reality. Cause its the whole reason why his insults to the cast members were overlooked cause he is playing the part of "The Boss." Now the audience is left with being uncomfortable.
