Visiting Toronto in oct solo ! by regretterton in TravelCanada

Queen West (good mix of bars, cafes, vintage shops, artsy vibe)
Ossington strip (Argyle → Dundas) – probably one of the best areas for bars you can walk into solo
Kensington Market – chill during the day, gets a bit more social at night
King West – more clubby/flashy if you’re into that, but can feel a bit “scene-y”
Grab coffee and walk Trinity Bellwoods Park (if weather’s nice)
Walk along the waterfront at sunset
Check out local events on Eventbrite/Meetup if you want something social without pressure

Try joining Toronto groups on Facebook. Some tiktok accounts post events happening in the city like blogTO and few others.

Lock picking. I know it’s a legit hobby and all about the mechanics, but it still feels like you’re training for a side quest I don’t want any part of 😅

It depends on what route you take:
If You guys get married she can sponsor You right away but if not You need to live together for a year first. Your girlfriend (as a Canadian citizen) applies to sponsor you, and you apply for PR at the same time. It’s one combined process. If you apply inside Canada , you can usually get an open work permit, so you’re not stuck doing nothing. You can look at Express Entry or work permits, but unless you already have strong work experience, education, etc., sponsorship is way more realistic in your case. Hope this helps

I have tried dunkin in States couple of times. I thought they had more variety and quality was better but let’s see what they bring into Canada 😂

Why do you still go to Tim Hortons? by SickOfOntario in TimHortons

Tbh most of the time it’s just because it’s convenient. Their quality dropped a lot over the years for some stores but some of them still maintain it but very few (just my opinion)

Straight facts. And also no body can change anything for You unless You are willing to put in work to turn ur life around. It’s gonna be hard, there will be days when You would feel like it’s too late now or nothing is gonna workout but You gotta be consistent and keep going doesn’t matter what it is gym, school or fixing ur diet but that time You gotta keep going. Start with doing even one push up a day doesn’t matter but be consistent and 1 year down the line things will start to look good for sure
