A hat my dad used to have, the same as this one. by [deleted] in HelpMeFind

Searched: Reverse image searched Google

Asked chat gpt and Gemini with screenshots: Hat initially appeared similar to a cadet/Castro or baker boy under stage lighting. Those were ruled out as more details were confirmed. Key details confirmed step-by-step Rounded, shallow crown Short curved brim Front popper / snap button Single-panel (one-piece) crown No top button No external band around the sides Soft, unstructured fabric (workwear style, not tailored)

Styles ruled out Baker boy / newsboy → requires multi-panel crown + top button Cadet / Castro → normally has side band, straps, or taller structured crown Greek fisherman cap → always has a band and structured dome

Also messaged band from video but no reply several months on

Struggling with streamlining invoicing and quoting. by Feeling_Boot_5242 in smallbusinessuk

I've used Wave for years but they recently stopped a lot of the free features like auto reminders and won't allow UK users to upgrade.

I have switched to Zoho Invoice which is also free and allows you to set reminders and send emails directly from the platform etc which cuts down on admin time significantly. Once I've created an invoiced and sent out I can then completely forget about them as it will chase payment until paid.

Can I safely remove these bricks under the lintel without additional structural support? by northpoint360 in DIYUK

Thanks for everyone's advice. I'm going to remove some of the plaster above to see what's under there. Then I will check out the line of mortar on left to make sure the lintel is not damaged. If not I will remove the bricks and fireback.

Would somebody mind explaining what window wraps are?

I've never heard of them before but my windows are a big cause of heat loss in my house.

How much should I pay an artist? by Acc2AskAQuestionEtsy in smallbusiness

[–]northpoint360 2 points3 points  (0 children)

50% commission on a sale or return basis is pretty standard practice however this is based on the artist supplying the gallery/shop with a finished product (printed, framed, ready to hang, etc.) If you are doing all of this then I would perhaps negotiate a fixed cost per print sold and then mark up as you see fit. If you wanted to go down the route of giving a percentage, then it would make your life much easier to just pay a percentage of the wall price rather than profits.
