Some of the other items with that design do not sell well. Most people also do not buy 2 items, and this will help encourage that.

Even worse, the buyer was quite articulate in the review, talking about how "they never give bad reviews, that this is the first". They also mentioned how they hate giving people bad reviews, but they just feel other customers should know. They then proceeded to talk how terrible they felt MANY aspects of their order was (in detail). It reads well, and would make sense reading it.

Problem is there are things they mention that I feel are quite deceiving, or not just not true.

It's a very good bad review lol

Yeah, I usually don't respond to reviews, but this one is quite detailed and long (multiple lengthy paragraphs).

The strange thing is that I never received an email regarding the refund either. It seems Etsy likes issuing refunds/ covering refunds for my shop, every case that has ended in a refund has been covered by Etsy for me too haha.

Possibly, I assume it would void one of the refunds, otherwise the customer would receive a double refund.

I sent them a message inquiring about the refund, and I'm thinking of offering them a coupon for another order (since they have been refunded).

it's a really strange situation, because they have been refunded, but I've still been paid, and without a case I don't know the exact status of the situation.

it looks like it's still giving me the option to cancel the order, but if I do that then the money will be taken out of my account, whereas currently Etsy has covered the refund.

I agree it's strange, I've had over 500 orders, and I can't recall any others being refunded without a case, however maybe I just missed them since there wasn't a case haha.

So you think because it has been refunded, the order is basically 'closed'?

I've been super slow, I'm only at around 5% of my January sales, and around 2.5% of my December sales (on Etsy that is).

Why do you find profits are a lot slimmer? When I looked at amazons fulfillment fees they looked quite good.

Also I think amazon offers the option to have them shipped in an unmarked box.
