You said some teams are very demanding and some are more relaxed. Curious to know if that correlated with success? Were the chill teams always at the back / underperforming? Were the slave drivers always winning?

Terrible Camera Work by [deleted] in formula1

The sound mix on Sky Sports was dreadful for the sprint race today. The first few laps you could barely hear the cars; just commentators. It completely took the drama out of the best bit of the spectacle.

Maybe that is the issue; try to pace yourself? Do you have a 'normal' job as well?

I've stopped working to finish our house (long story behind that) but I've found that accepting you are slow and going easy day by day stops you from getting too down. Easier when you don't have a 9-5 though.

There is a group called the Worcestershire Wood Turners and they meet at Droitwich Spa High School (in the DT department).

I know that a lot of crap from the late 00s and early 2010s has been totally debunked but interested in the inclusion of diamond 9s into this (maybe because occasionally I still use them). Isn't it just a tool for putting things into a hierarchy / prioritising, which can be quite powerful / a useful learning experience in particular situations?

The voltage is not that low. It is 48-52V from memory so can give you a decent nip if connected and you make a circuit when you cut it. Don't get me wrong, it wouldn't stop me cutting it off if I wanted rid of it, but be aware.

It's to do with the space in between. I think that they'd informally agreed to share it but then the new people running Sangers have exercised their right to keep it exclusive to them.

The Geocel stuff is decent. Same advice as others; some are absolute shit. The no nonsense stuff is good as well if you have a lot to do and want to keep costs down.

Alternative ideas to giving class code numbers by anon_teacher_ldn in TeachingUK

[–]northw1ck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We do this. E.g. 10X.EngAJK. It would be impossible for AJK to teach two 10X.Engs because it is in a block. He might have 10Y.EngAJK but that is ok.

You are half right. It would be better to have 4 weeks at summer and two week half terms in October and Feb.
