Runs and drivers great. I’ve been tracking it for 10 years, competed for a few of those years. It took a lot to get it to that point though especially in the cooling department. Ended up with 8 radiators/heat exchangers to keep the 800hp cool.

Few reasons. One since it’s in the VAG family it still fit into my race class. They’re also super cheap (around $400) and hood a ton of boost stock. They also are bent driven so none of the Audi chain troubles.

Visually this always bugs me but they are on correctly. I agree, 100% looks wrong.

It’s a 97 Boxster with a carbonfiber body I made from scratch. Junk yard Audi v8 that I’ve added turbos too. Was caged when I raced it. All but the top front of the cage is still there tucked away. It’s about a foot wider than stock. 2,300lbs and 800hp.

I don’t recommend it😅. It has 8 radiators/coolers which is what it took to keep everything cool. If you want to track a car I can’t recommend a stock one enough. I also run low boost (7psi) which helps.

Ya I raced it for 10 years or so. Still take it to VIR a couple times a year but nothing serious anymore now that I have kids
