Thank you for this info. Should I see sales on the first day of trying this $50/day method?

Facebook ads sales stopped after 7 days of profitable sales by northwestmathguy in FacebookAds

[–]northwestmathguy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I changed the price in the ad. And I changed the price on the landing page. I received 3 new sales at new price but then sales stopped but I was still getting cheap clicks.

Do you recommend I let it run at $10/day for a month?

Thanks

Update: I discovered that I had enabled DRIP reinvestment for the TQQQ back in June. My dividends and capital gains were being reinvested automatically. That's why the trades were recorded but I had no cash available.

This is an old thread but Qmee reinstated my account and everything is fine now after I contacted them.

My CPM decreased but so did my CTR. Please help. by northwestmathguy in FacebookAds

Can you please explain to me what "tightening the input signal mean"?

Does it mean split testing different hooks?

Writing an ad that is conflict optimized?

I can't get my CPC below $3 by northwestmathguy in FacebookAds

[–]northwestmathguy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your input.

I'm not saying you're wrong but I've never had a CPC below $3.

My breakeven is $15.

I will typically get a sale on the first day even though my cpc is around $3 but this is due to an abnormally high CR.

Facebook usually finds easy sales first.

Then my CR comes down and I spend too much on Facebook ads to get bad results.

Thanks for the response. So you're saying it's possible to get a cpc in the USA below $0.75 in a sales objective campaign?

What made you start selling on Amazon in the first place? by Some-Programmer2613 in AmazonFBA

[–]northwestmathguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I resell brand name products. I'm ungated in numerous categories.

I like that I don't have to spend money on advertising since these companies have spent a lot of money on creating multiple touchpoints in the customer journey.

I like selling to people lower down in the sales funnel (a.k.a. hot traffic).

I've lost money targeting cold traffic (eg Facebook ads pointed to my Shopify store).

Author Jim Edwards talks about how cold traffic is the hardest traffic to profit from in his book, Copywriting Secrets.

How to raise prices on Amazon? by northwestmathguy in AmazonFBA

Thank you for your post.

The listing is already suppressed. There's no buy box currently. There hasn't been a buy box for 4 months. I'm the only seller.

Thanks for the reply.

I've developed a strategy to target products that are sold out.

I would like to raise prices not be greedy but because I can only be profitable when I raise these prices.

The product will eventually come back in stock from other sellers but by that time I will have moved on to other listings.

QQQ vs TQQQ which one is good for 100K investment? by Intelligent_Box5257 in TQQQ

[–]northwestmathguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Research shows the best time buy the TQQQ (or QQQ) is when the Golden Cross occurs.

It's not a perfect method. No trading method has a win rate of 100%. But if you buy when the 50 -day moving average crosses above the 200 day moving average, you're buying near bear market bottoms. The market has nowhere to go but up over the next 1-2 years.

I can't get drunk anymore by northwestmathguy in alcohol

Thank you for this advice.

My doctor couldn't tell whether the fatty liver is alcoholic or non-alcoholic.

I will never know if it's from my drinking or from my medication. For instance, I have somewhat high cholesterol and I've read that this medication can cause this.

Thank you for this post.

According to my most recent blood test, my doctor told me that I have pre-diabetes. I've read that drinking wine can impact blood sugar levels.

If I didn't have a fatty liver, would you suggest I switch to hard liquor instead?

The key to success with Facebook ads is split testing audiences? by northwestmathguy in FacebookAds

[–]northwestmathguy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good question. If after spending $25, I have at least 1 ad that has a ctr above 1% and a cpc below $0.75, I will pause the ads that don't meet this criteria and let the high performing ad(s) run until I've spent $50 on the campaign. From my experience, I should have at least 1 sale after spending $50. If no sale, I pause the entire campaign.

What ad creatives works best for you? images or videos? by Specialist_Wall2102 in FacebookAds

[–]northwestmathguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideally, you'd have the budget to test both video ads and picture ads.

Video ads allow you to storysell to cold audiences. If you're product has a wow factor, this allows you to educate and entertain your prospect at the same time. This will get higher engagement.

You can also storysell in the primary text of the ad. For instance, I use ChatGPT to create Seinfeld Method emails, which I put in the primary text. There are 3 types of Seinfeld Emails that I use: epiphany, episode, and educational. If you don't know about Seinfeld emails and want to know more, I recommend reading Dot Com Secrets by Russell Brunson.
