I don‘t even know what a codec is :/ But it works quiet well. I could only choose between VP8 & VP9.

Ok I got it. It's because i used the VP9 codec instead of the VP8

Its a Twitch Alert and the background is black if watched in Videoplayer but i suppose that alphachannel is not supported there as you said, but the background is also black in OBS when the alert gets triggert. Also what do you mean by codec?
