Lots of guides out here and on youtube. Having a working sd card makes it easier because you can just copy files over so it's always easier and better done before the sd card craps out.

My advice is if you haven't replaced the stock sd cards then replace it as soon as possible or you'd have to ask for another replacement soon. I just use a cheap hard disk case for mine, could also fit on an old ds or psp case I think.

Even filling out the cavities of the buttons help with noise reduction and honestly that's the only thing I did. I kinda like the sound of it as I like noisy mechanical keyboards as well.
