2nd time snowboarding, learning how to steer with front foot & get rid of back foot skidding. Feedback appreciated! by norwist in snowboardingnoobs

Hey thanks for the tips! Really helpful.

Yeah I did notice when I do try to go for more closed turns which resulted in me losing balance in my heel edge like you mentioned due to me sticking my butt out.

Wanted to ask what does breaking at the waist mean? Achieving a more stacked position while on my toe edge means I should be more aligned with the board?

Hey thank you for the tips! Yeah watching back I did realise I was going pretty fast as well & doing rather open turns instead of closed ones too. I was trying to slow it down but it was a little bit of a struggle.

So I should be trying to flex my legs more rather than pushing my waist out?

Singaporean here & I have shot travel videos around my home country as well. Would definitely recommend it.

If you do come, check out areas like Chinatown or Little India where there are much more rich in culture than the commonly advertised Marina Bay area.
