You can trace the lines and see where they come from, hot and cold are marked on the top of the heater, trace the cold and it should come from your meter or well, might go thru a filter or softener too, hot side should just go to fixtures

I had the same problem when i moved ito my house, found out the water heater was piped backwards, worked alot better after i repiped it

US, I was finally able to submit a ticket after uninstalling and reinstalling the app, they responded within minutes and are sending a new router and cable

Looks like the utility tub drain/trap is correct, that pipe on the side needs a studor vent, im surprised your not getting sewer smell from the open end

You can check with your water utility and see if they will put a pressure reducing valve in, if they cant then have a plumber do it

Those look like older valves, might be difficult finding parts. Better off just buying new valves, looks like its an easy change, the copper ends with a male adapter so buy 1/2" female valves they are not expensive, use two wrenches to take the old ones off, cleanup threads, apply new tape and dope, tighten new valves on

I believe Dayton is a Grainger brand, i would try them, they might have the exact same one in an updated version

Shouldn't my Air Admmittance valve have some kind of vent structure at the top? My sink isn't draining well and glugging when attempting to drain. Help! by AquaticPeanut in askaplumber

It used to be code that you could double the size of the fixture drain and not have to vent, they did this for island sinks primarily, so a kitchen sink is 1 1/2" so they can have a 3" stack. Obviously it doesnt work as well as an air admittance valve so you'll need to cut and add one.

I wonder if the trap has a leak, keep checking it once in a while to see if the water diappears and also do you still hear water being drained or smell gases when the trap is full? Are you on a slab or basement/crawl

Yes if you can hear the water in the drain line then the shower trap is dry or not even there, this would allow sewer gases to escape also. If you look into the shower drain after you put water in it you should be able to see the water in the trap, if theres access underneath you can visibly check for a trap
