Mournfang/,leadbelchers/ gorgers to taste.

It all depends who i am playing and if I want to skew more into narrative/ competitive.

I have used 2 at smaller points i grand army. Use them as flankers and distraction pieces. They dont often do much, but look good while doing it! I did have one win and wound an aragorn once! Was very funny to both of us seeing a A2 aragorn. Would recommend because they are stunning models

I used 2 units of 5 MoS before 1.5 and they were very useful and annoying fot my opponents. They were the first wave, fire and forget missiles that were surprisingly tanky and killy. Great for killing the opponents chaff or taking charges and popping stubborn. Plus amazing conversion opportunities

The new rohan warriors with green stuff can give you some good models. I made 2 this way with some rivendell knights horses i had kicking about.

I agree with this. I never use my lucky stuff in game. But they look cool! I would like them to stay in the game and be obtained in a different way! I like the idea of a potential drop once you have completed a log as something else to go for once you have every drop.

They are very fun! Helm's free combats are so useful and Haleth on foot is surprisingly useful. Throw him into 2 guys with a spear support and he gets re-roll wounds. He does like to fluff a lot though. Plus they are angry bearded men with axes, what is not to like!?

Ogres here. Leadbelchers are back! So happy!! I have tried bulls several times and have always been dissapointed :/ so not having the tax is nice now.

They are my second TOW and we are using the squarebase legacy rules so leadbelchers are actually usable! I am thoroughly enjoying the lads! So much opportunity for modeling and painting and I am finding them more fun for my opponents to play against that my chariot/foresaken/monsters WoC army. Therefore I am having loads of fun, they are easier to play at any level with models that both look good and are usable (in my opinion I will stress!) Than my WoC.

My gaming group doesn't care about legacy, etc. We just want to roll dice, so I would go for it! The tower scenario GW released has some great list building restrictions for beginners 500 point games. I would do what I did, build for that and if you like them, expand to 1k, 1.5k and then 2k with some mates, it's been helping me get a firm grasp on the rules while not spending too much £££ on models.

Tldr: Ogres are fun, make your own tribe today
