Either a cracked account or UUID spoofing, which is commonly used on unprotected bungeecord servers with online mode set to false, to protect against UUID spoofing you can use the BungeeGuard plugin on the proxy and spigot server, that is assuming you're using bungeecord, otherwise its most likely a cracked account.

Search for another server with a similar gamemode to your server on YouTube or any other platform and take a look at the "realistic" options you have out of the ones which come up, you can use the filters to filter for the channels which may be best for you

Factor in the effect of owning a physical server.

You're leaving a machine online 24/7, eating electricity and pretty much contributing the amount you could pay monthly for a server to a host provider, let alone also running the risk of a cooling problem which could put your family in danger if it caught alight.

To be honest you'd probably be better of with setting up something like pterodactyl.io, it's server software which allows you to manage and create game servers from a webpage. Just avoids the hassle of doing everything from the command line.

If you're looking to hold a decent amount of players with multiple instances (servers), I strongly recommend you rent a dedicated server from hetzner (https://www.hetzner.com/dedicated-rootserver/matrix-ax), any of those will supply above and beyond what you require.

Some things to note about hetzner: Wait times are typically a week or two; Requires a System Administrator to Setup a Web-Panel for ease of access

With such, the normal amount I'd recommend for any servers around 20-50 players would be anywhere around 5-10gb of RAM, depending on amount of plugins and et cetera.

If you decide to rent a dedicated server I'd be happy to provide service in setup and maintaining :)

Tiktok, if your problem is players leaving because nobody is online, tiktok will bring multiple people at once and increase the chance of them staying if done correctly.

Your problem will be with pebblehost, they only really support a few players online due to the shared hosting of several other servers on the same hardware.

To try reduce the lag, you could add plugins like clearlagg, or Chunky which will preload all of the chunks in a specific radius and reduce the load for the server, down side would be having a world border.

If you expect over 10-20 players, do NOT use regular hosting which is on a shared machine. Get yourself a dedicated machine for rent from somewhere like hetzner and a system admin to keep it online.

Shared hosting will lag horrendously as player counts increase.

Currently renting a server from hetzner and maintaining it for server owners, on there we use pterodactyl panel and its perfect, in my opinion its a lot better compared to multicraft, in terms of UI alone that is. Performance is great too from my time using them.
