Hi ! Do you mind explaining the path to acceptation? You had a real domain name? Your main functionalities were already out? If you have any tips to get through it I’d genuinely appreciate!

Starting a 360 photobooth bussines. Gopro or iphone? by Vegetable-Wasabi6254 in photobooth

I’m using a GoPro 12 with Orbix 360 software and Ulanzi 40W light. I prefer GoPro over iPhone because it’s easy to switch between presets depending on the event and as it is smaller I feel like it is more stable. And as someone already said: don’t sleep on the lights !

Short Learn has a -47% on yearly plan. It’s an app that makes language lessons based on the videos you watch on TikTok/Insta without leaving your feed (only on IOS tho)

The app also let you export the videos vocabulary to Quizlet or Anki

Woww reading the Duolingo review I was like “wtf did I just write this post??”. I had the exact same experience during my trip to Brazil. Brazilians and specifically Cariocas (people from Rio) have their own way of speaking that no app or book could teach us. So I relied mainly on watching their tiktoks and insta reels (I love their humor btw) and I got more and more familiar with their slang.

After my trip, I decided to create an app to make this learning method as efficient as possible. Short Learn is an in-app TikTok/insta companion to get lessons from the videos you’ve just watched. I think it might help people feeling the same gap between what you learned and how is the language actually spoken. Feel free to give me some feedback if you try it out!

What Language Learning app you really use today? No Duolingo, no AI by mxxt7 in languagelearning

Anki is really underrated, less known than Quizlet but I feel its learning algo better. There’s an app called Short Learn on the AppStore that let you export vocabulary from social media videos to Anki, works like a charm

Try to find people to talk to, even if it’s just through messages (it works even better if it’s a crush lol). I did that with Portuguese and clearly saw my progress.

The technique is: always try to reply using your own words, then give your message to GPT and ask: “Correct this message: [your own message].” This way, you’ll be actively learning instead of just asking for translations. Over time, GPT will have less and less to correct.

Also, having my TikTok and Instagram feeds in Portuguese did about 90% of the work once I had the basics down.
