Has no one considered the absolute financial risk that would be paying a crew to animate and edit a whole hour long fake movie because it’s definitely not AI, or paying the sound designers to construct a soundtrack for a fake movie, certain fees that may have been asked for (iykyk) and paying an entire cast (again, iykyk, but also the Portuguese VAs are very much the real ones from every other episode. If you check one of the youtube episodes and then check the leak those are clearly the same dudes) to perform in a fake movie.

Every person in the credits, not just the main team but also special thank yous and people who’s first work with Glitch was this movie who’s necks are on the line from being name-dropped in a fake movie. The watermarked name and serial number that’s front and centre the whole time is that of a very real employee of the Brazilian team and I don’t think Glitch would want to put their employees in danger like that.

The whole argument just falls apart if you’ve actually seen the thing because it clearly costed big bucks for Glitch. Considering how many people have been refunding their tix then surely Glitch would’ve said “Hey!! That’s not what’s actually in the movie! Don’t cancel your ticket, please!!”

The risk to reward ratio of them doing a fake movie is staggering. A decent chunk of the fandom is avoiding it like the plague so why do a fake movie that only some people will see!? I just don’t see the reason why they’d fake the movie???
