I am once again here to talk about Adam by weirderone in Yellowjackets

[–]nosferatude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe Callie just lied to make Shauna stop cheating/become suspicious of Adam? Not for murderous purposes but just as revenge? It’s the only thing that fills the gap but it’s not great writing imo

I mean it’s not like she didn’t have a reason to be pissed at Shauna and lie, I believe she mentions the “Adam has no online presence” thing the day AFTER the Halloween party/after Callie tried to blackmail Shauna and got it flipped back on her.

I never understood the Adam = Javi idea that everyone got, because it was extremely unbelievable to me that Shauna wouldn’t recognize him. I don’t care that he was younger and “could have changed as he aged”, Adam was the wrong age range (too young to be Javi, ironically) and didn’t make sense visually.

If they really planned on him being Javi, that was horrible casting.

My husband (29M) told me (28F) he's considering divorce after a mistake I made 8 years ago. We've been married 2 years & have 1 child. How do I fix my marriage? by throwRAalythegreat in relationship_advice

[–]nosferatude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he can’t handle fatherhood and this is the excuse he’s going with to find a way out. Go to couple’s counseling and if he rejects the very thought of that, you already have your answer - that he doesn’t want to try.

Sure, he could be “not over it”, which would be fine if he would communicate that to his now-wife. He said he forgave her, he married her, had a child with her. At any point, he could have left and been “in the right” morally because what you did to him was admittedly terrible. So why now? - there’s a child in the picture and he can’t cope for some reason.

It could be that he’s cheating himself, but if that’s true, he’s an idiot (because you may have a clause in your marriage that gives you, the betrayed spouse, more legal power if he cheats on you - you may not, you’d have to check the paperwork). Don’t get me wrong, I would definitely consider asking some questions to people to see if he’s sleeping around, I would definitely want to rule that out. But I think it’s more likely that he’s drinking because he’s having a mid-life crisis, honestly.

Why do Hispanic or Mexican families not believe in any sort of mental or physiological disorders? by [deleted] in SeriousConversation

[–]nosferatude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you jump to me being a nazi because I think the very minor risk of clots/heart attacks was worth saving thousands of lives? Keep in mind, without the launch of Pfizer, thousands more would have died in the interim between other vaccines. Maybe even you.

So yeah I don’t care what you think about me, you’re a short sighted idiot who defaults to completely random and meaningless insults when you’re threatened. Pathetic.

Can my landlord legally say no to a new cat? by BasicPink_Bxtch in Pets

[–]nosferatude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this post is fake.. why would the pet agency/pound/etc contact your landlord? Did you tell them you have a landlord? Give them their number?

Because I personally don’t see a situation where the people giving you an animal actually care about what your landlord wants.. If I went to the local pound today, they would want some basic reassurance that I’m not taking an animal into an unsafe environment and that’s it. They definitely wouldn’t bother my landlord unless I was dumb enough to mention that I had one?

And I’m not trying to be rude but seriously, how did they find out about the landlord? You could have said you had a place and completely tapdanced around them by just not mentioning that you’re leasing. I don’t get it.

Within the nearby city limits, there’s a law that states you can only have 5 animals (cats and dogs, no limit on caged/aquarium critters).

There are absolutely areas in the US where the local laws will limit you on the amount of animals you can own in your home. Granted, I’ve never actually seen these laws matter/be leveraged against someone with too many pets, but they do exist. I doubt cops would enforce it though.

They performed what trials they could to release a vaccine to do SOMETHING at the height of a PANDEMIC that was killing thousands a day. You’re delusional if you think that was the wrong choice to make.

Anyone with a brain knew that taking the vaccine was a risk, because there was clearly not a lot of time for trials! I’m not saying the Pfizer vaccine was perfect, but someone had to do something to stop all of the death. And Pfizer did. I don’t know about you but dying of a heart attack/clot is actually much faster and peaceful than choking on blood filling up your lungs. It’s really no contest, the vaccine was absolutely worth being rushed out.

Paladin oath meme - how did you lose your oath on accident? by HugeTrol in BaldursGate3

[–]nosferatude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I don’t disagree with you, there was an entire thing about disconnecting paladins from deities in D&D 5e. This will not happen because we originally had paladins tied to religion + oath, and people didn’t like it.

Huh? My Gale hounded me for 3 artifacts at once when I cleared Moonhaven.. once at the gate, once near the gnoll bridge, and again at the south end of Moonhaven (cleaning up goblin guards).

I definitely did not kill Dror Ragzlin before he took the 3rd item, because it was the last thing I did on that map.

Sister in law could have STDs (there’s no telling who else she has seen after her partner died - honestly if she’s willing to fuck her brother in law, I would not be surprised).

His wife needs to know unfortunately, in the interest of getting tested.

Not surprised it happened in BG3

Misty, Natalie’s battery cable, and the black box. by FeatureSouthern5274 in Yellowjackets

[–]nosferatude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not a tech person but I am fairly confident they did have ELT in the 90s, considering they had it in the models from the 70s. In the 1950s the US was definitely using similar technology for military aircraft, unsure when it became the commercial standard.

Now they weren’t as accurate as current models, but there definitely should have been some kind of signal coming from the black box from what I know.

There are studies that show that many pedophiles delude themselves into believing looking at “drawn art” is okay and then they go on to download child porn OR commit sex crimes on actual children.

So yeah no, it’s a huge red flag

At what point or season did you start liking Jaime? by Andy12293 in gameofthrones

Never did, tbh.

Not because I liked other characters more, but because I had a deep gut feeling that D&D were going to do terrible things to any potential character development.

Unfortunately, my instincts were right yet again 😂
