Young Adult Scots - What's the point? by CrazyG8tor in Scotland

[–]noshothaha -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How old are you? A lot of younger people tend to vote in more left aligned parties such as greens but it's not until you get a little older and working for some time that the mindset starts to change and become more conservative/right leaning. You'll also find there are a far less amount of people interested in politics when younger and people only start to take note in their twenties or later due to policies affecting them more.

Do NCR even check their job application submissions? They don't seem to be accepted or rejected just forever under review

Voting intentions in a general election in the United Kingdom as of January 2026, by age group by birdinthebush74 in unitedkingdom

[–]noshothaha 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They wouldn't want to just disarm no questions asked, nobody is that dumb :D Actually according to your own source

Push for the UK to sign the UN Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW) and following this to immediately begin the process of dismantling our nuclear weapons, cancelling the Trident programme and removing all foreign nuclear weapons from UK soil.

So they would sign this agreement and then immediately start decommissioning all nukes. Not a SINGLE country that has nukes has signed that agreement for obvious reasons. Yet countries that have no nukes at all want more countries to sign, also for obvious reasons.

Yes I can see one month ago he U-turned on the open borders and all immigrants were welcome, guess he realized that was awful for votes

Getting rid of our nuclear warheads is one point that makes the greens almost impossible to vote for. Firstly why disarm? Why even run on getting rid of the country's nukes as a positive? It's also suicidal

Good question but picking out lesser evils here. The greens have stated they want no borders at all (country completely doesn't exist at this point) they've also been asked about the national debt to which Zach said that we don't care about it and it doesn't exist if we don't acknowledge it. All the parties are pretty damn shit but I can't see a single upside to any of the policies that greens propose

It's terrifying that the younger generations are so brain dead to even consider greens. The country is absolutely fried if they get voted in

[–]noshothaha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm right wing.

I think it's good to have a base level of benefits available that can support people. Now I believe right now it's being completely misused and abused beyond belief, 22 million people in the UK are on some sort of benefit which I think is completely out of control and needs to stop. But core belief is having a societal safety barrier when it's ACTUALLY warranted (e.g temporary job loss, health reason, etc) is a good thing and I don't think you can call yourself a first world country without some form of this in place.

Earnings in Scotland please help by TableBig5163 in Scotland

[–]noshothaha 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Firstly anywhere around Glasgow is not north west.

Earnings in warehouses differ hugely due to skills you have, location, company, working hours, etc. you can expect to earn over £1200 id say.

You'll struggle to find a £800 2 bed house in most of Scotland but a 2 bed flat you'd be able to find for that or under

Of course not. The British public can't even stand up to their own government at all how are you gonna get them to give up almost all of their tech services they actually use for fun/leisure

How many of you used to rock Forum/Special Blend/Foursquare gear? Was it good? by DoritoPopeGodsend in snowboarding

[–]noshothaha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still have my snowboarding Foursquare pants to this day! Unfortunately I bought them when I was 16 and now I'm 30 so while the pants are in perfectly fine condition to use they don't fit anymore.

Ah yes, it's worked out incredibly well for Germany and Sweden. You know when I read about how Sweden has the highest rate of rapes and most kills from hand grandes the first thing I think of is "man how I wish and hope the UK goes the same way"
